Science, Faith and Beyond

Exploring Big Questions with Young People

The Youth and Schools team at The Faraday Institute for Science and Religion works to encourage and equip children, young people, and their influencers, to explore their big science-faith questions.

Welcome to our hub for educators!

Our ‘Faraday Educators’ site aims to provide support and material for anyone engaging with young people and their questions about the world, science, God and religious faith – including parents, teachers and church children’s and youth workers.

Above, you will find tabs that give you more information about the training we offer for teachers, trainee teachers, church workers and budding science-faith communicators. You will also find information about the sessions we can run with young people, and a collection of resources we think may be helpful and/or interesting for you as you think about communicating with young people about science and faith.

If you are interested in material directly for young people then please use the logos above, or the shortcuts below, to navigate to our ‘Faraday Kids’ pages (for ages 2-11) or our ‘Faraday Teens’ pages (for ages 11-18).

We hope you will feel encouraged and equipped to support the young people around you as they start thinking about their big, important questions and how knowledge from both science and religion may help them explore their questions in fuller, deeper ways.
