BioLogos, a USA-based organisation focused on communicating about how Christian faith and science can work hand in hand, has produced a series of educational resources called ‘Integrate’.
Integrate is a faith & science curriculum designed for home educators and teachers at private Christian schools (grades 6–12) or Christian public school families at home. It explores the theological and ethical questions raised by modern science and aims to cultivate virtues such as humility, wisdom, and wonder. Content has been vetted by Bible scholars, theologians, pastors and qualified scientists to help students make deeper connections between their personal faith and the science they are learning. It can also be adapted for church small groups or individual study, even up to adult-aged groups.
This resource is particularly suited for Christian settings in the USA, but can be used to support science-faith exploration in other Christian settings.
Curriculum units include:
- Faith and Science Foundations
- Ways of Knowing
- Science as a Christian Vocation
- Cells and Design
- Genetic Diversity and Human Dignity
- DNA Technologies and Ethics
- Fearfully and Wonderfully Made
- Bible Interpretation and Science
- Evolution and God’s Creation
