Wonderful Earth

We have a wonderful Earth! This colourful book uses interactive elements such as lift the flap, turn the wheel, look in the mirror, and more, to give kids hours of fun exploring the world that the authors believe God made, and learning how they can take care of it.

Written from a Christian perspective, the narrative describes the wonder, variety and complexity of God’s creation in a way which is generally compatible with scientific understanding and draws out the idea that humanity has made a mess of the beautiful creation God put around us. The pages roughly follow the order outlined in the Genesis 1 creation story but focusing on the categories referenced rather than days, timing or process.

This book provides an engaging introduction to God’s creation, our place in it and the challenge of our responsibility to care for it.
